From Imran To Mindful Muslimah
Assalamualaikum! I hope that you will be fine and your life is going well too.
I am writing this blog just for you because I am a (non-mahram) man and you have mentioned it in your bio on Instagram. Due to the current situation in this world, your concerns are valid but all five fingers are not the same. We are living in a world where there is a possibility of seeing the evilness in a Muslim and goodness in a non-muslim too.
There are some questions which I had asked you before. But now, I will write those questions and I will share some of the reasons as well.
Why did I Approach You?
There are a few reasons behind this question. Let me list them but each one is
connected to the next one. So the last one would clearly answer this question.
- Well, I am a person who likes people from other parts of the world. I like diversity and I am not racist. As you’re from another country, that’s the first reason.
- As you’re a reverted Muslim and I respect those Muslims too much because you people have accepted Islam from the heart after feeling it, realizing it. Not like us who are Muslims by birth and many of us don’t know why are we Muslims.
When a person repents then he/she is like a child who has just been born (Clean Record). Allah forgives all of their sins. So, In my opinion, these are the chosen ones, and sometimes, I wish that I’d be in that category.
In the Last Sermon (Khutabul Wada), Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said:
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white- except by piety and good action.
3. It is my dream to marry a lady who fulfills the above points and that’s why I sent you the messages. A person who is learning Islam, who has accepted Islam from her heart, who is not interested in cultures/customs. I feel that you’re one of those people. I used to read the news daily and I read it so many times that Muslim Ladies are protesting there to wear Hijab or Jilbaab. But here, they protest for freedom like from covering themselves, from marriage bound, etc and Media covers their protest too.
I see Islam in the West but Not many Muslims. But I see Muslims in the Middle East and Asia but Not Islam.
In the country in which I am living, people are strongly bonded to their old baseless customs which are not Islamic. Even religious people are bounded to that too. But To Be Honest, I am not a part of it. Even, I resist them. For example, when I wanted to grow my Beard, I faced so much opposition from the people. But I managed to face them courageously”. That’s why, I wanted to have a Spouse who has the same vision, who is determined to give the children an environment free from these customs, superstitions, and rumors, and is willing to create an Islamic Environment. So that these children could lead the people in the upcoming years and do something remarkable for the rest of the humans and Muslims like Tariq Ibn Ziyad, Salahuddin Al Ayubi, etc. ALLAH says in the Quran:
O humankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. (Surah Al-Hujurat, 49:13)
Allama Iqbal was a South Asian Muslim writer, philosopher, and poet. I had read some of his poetry in school. In his one stanza, he says:
Build in love’s empire your hearth and your home;
Build Time anew, a new dawn, a new eve!
Why did I send you a message regarding Marriage at the start when both of us don’t know each other?
I had seen some videos on Youtube about this issue and several agreed upon this thing that a Muslim should express his/her intentions at the start before getting to know each other. That’s why, I did the same and at the end of my message, I had written: “You can ask your queries”. You might be surprised after reading my message. But there was nothing wrong with it. So, I am still willing to proceed with this matter and we know each other.

Who Am I?
My name is Imran. I am a Muslim (Sunni Muslim if it matters) by birth. I am living in Pakistan. I am a 26-year-old Electrical Engineer. I’m working in an E-Commerce Organization. I am an open-minded person who follows Quran and Sunnah only. I don’t follow any Saints, Shaikhs, etc. I listen to a few scholars. The most prominent one is Dr. Israr Ahmad. Although he had died 11 years ago. (May Allah showers His blessing on him, Ameen.) But his speeches, his Tafseer of the Quran are remarkable. I also listen to Mufti Menk, and some others too.
A Polite Request
I don’t know what would be your reaction after reading this. Take your time But Please, the reply must. I am like a person who is standing at the door and who has knocked on the door. On the other hand, you are inside of that house who has heard the voice of knock but haven’t replied. As far as I didn’t receive any response from the inside (Either Yes or No), I will be waiting at the door.
